A voluntary EU-funded training course is being offered to all primary and secondary teachers in State and non-State schools. The course is also being extended to Learning Support Assistants.
This course is part of your INSET approved training. Training sessions will also be held in Gozo.
Participants are eligible for the prize draw of a familiarisation trip to Brussels.
The course will provide information on a number of EU-related topics, including: - The History of the European Union; - The EU institutions, agencies and their functioning; - Basic information on EU funding and how to apply for EU funding programmes.
Duration: - The sessions will be spread over 4 sessions of 3 hours each, total of 12 hours; - An optional 3-hour session, in the form of an orientation visit to Europa House in which the certificate of attendance issued by the Department of Education are to be handed will also be held.
