Jesmond Saliba

Jesmond has almost 25 years of experience in the field of Communications. He started his career in 1993 working in the newsroom of Smash Radio and was involved in the setup of the newsroom of Smash TV, which he led between 1998 and 2001.

Between 1995 and 1996 he was the Communications Coordinator for the Minister of Home Affairs. He also has worked in the Marketing Department of Time International responsible for the marketing of top brands like Nike, Swatch, Oakley, Tag Heuer, Cartier and others.

In 2001 he was appointed spokesman for the Minister of Justice and Local Government. In 2003 he was the Minister’s Communications Coordinator for the Minister of Investment and Information Technology.

In 2008 he started Corporate Identities, which provides Marketing and PR advisory services to a number of Maltese and International brands.. He was also held advisory roles in a number of public and private sector companies, mainly focusing on the role and function of communications.

Jesmond also serves on the Board of Directors of Id-Dar Tal-Providenza, Chairman of the Editorial Board of Newsbook and RTK and has been elected as President of the Malta Volleyball Association. He is also a political (Local and International) commentator on local media.

Jesmond has graduated in BA in Communications Studies and International Relations in 1997 from the University of Malta and has successfully completed Masters in Corporate Communications and Public Affairs in 2008 from the Robert Gordon University in Scotland. He is an associate lecturer in Marketing and Communications.
