Christine joined MISCO Consulting Limited as a Trainer in 2014, bringing extensive experience of lecturing and training at various levels within the private as well as the public sector.
She holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management and Training awarded by the University of Leicester. The main focus of her dissertation in part-fulfilment of her degree was workplace learning. Christine is also in possession of a Diploma in Journalism, a Bachelor of Arts degree with English and Contemporary Mediterranean Studies as her main areas of study, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, all awarded by the University of Malta.
Upon completion of the course leading to the Postgraduate Certificate in Education, she was asked to join the Faculty of Education as a part-time visiting lecturer, a position she held for several years. On a number of occasions, she was also invited to conduct induction sessions and facilitate focus groups for a leading independent school. She also produced and presented two different series of weekly TV educational programmes and, for many years, was one of the TV anchors for the daily news bulletin in the English language.
In a career spanning over 20 years, Christine has garnered broad experience in some very diverse workplace settings, in both the private and public sector, ranging from aviation to rural affairs, telecommunications to the environment, banking to education. She currently holds the position of HR & Corporate Communications Manager of a multi-national organisation, which operates in the travel industry, with a staff complement of over 155 employees. Her responsibilities include the handling of the company’s training requirements as well as the development and delivery of vocational and mentoring programmes.
Christine is a member of the Foundation for Human Resources Development (FHRD), the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise & Industry and an affiliate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), the professional body for HR and people development in the United Kingdom.
