Level 4 in Leadership and Management

The Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) Diploma in Leadership and Management is a qualification that has been specially designed to give practising or aspiring first line managers a solid foundation in their formal development as a manager.

The qualification aims to give practising first line managers or supervisors the widest choice for their formal development in this role. The qualification does this by developing a very wide range of basic management skills and assisting participants in gaining the comprehensive knowledge required by a first line manager/supervisor.

The Diploma in Leadership and Management develops a very comprehensive range of management skills, providing learners with the broad body of knowledge required by a first line manager.  

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Although there are no formal entry requirements, participants will normally be either practising or aspiring first line managers/supervisors with the opportunity to meet the assessment demands. 

METHOD OF DELIVERY

Qualifications are flexible to suit every candidate's requirements and employers. They will be completed through a combination of tutor-led sessions and distance learning modules.

Participants will undertake relevant assessments in the form of written assignments gain this recognised qualification. 

Participants who attend an ILM qualification gain free studying membership of ILM for six months. Studying membership is designed to help participants get the most from their course and advance their management career. Studying membership gives also an access to a wide range of specialist support and development materials and services. 

This qualification is recognised by the National Commission for Further and Higher Education.
