Learning never stops really. If you want to remain on the ball within your expertise, indeed if you want to remain an expert at what you do, you need to keep yourself abreast with the developments in the industry. Only then can your career move forward.
“Courses and further training that lead to accreditations are a way of how to consolidate your current position with what you would like to achieve in your future,” explains Maria Zahra from MISCO.
MISCO has recently launched the 2014-15 Training & Development Catalogue which also includes a new qualifications portfolio. These qualifications cover various topics such as integrated communications, digital marketing and training, teaching and assessments.
“These courses are being aimed at all those professionals who want to go a step further in their career and want to strengthen their potential with new insights and capabilities. The fields of marketing and communications are very dynamic and constantly evolving. Practitioners in these fields need to be equally dynamic and ready to evolve,” added Ms Zahra.
“The need for a qualification for training professionals has also been identified and we understand that trainers are constantly on the look out for a qualification that proves their competence in the field. For this reason, we have also started to offer a specific qualification just for training professionals and specialists which is accredited by City & Guilds and is accredited as a Level 4 on the Malta Qualifications Framework.”
The new qualifications being offered are accreidted by The Chartered Institute of Marketing and City & Guilds at Levels 4, 5 and 6.
“This is indeed yet another exciting year for MISCO’s Training & Development arm. We have also added on new short professional development programmes to our portfolio. Applying for such courses from a leading training institution and study centre such as MISCO is the right step towards more learning and improvement in your career. Education remains a lifelong process and an investment in one’s self. Therefore, it is always worth pursuing,” added Ms Zahra.
